"Broken" by Debi Starr portrays a young beautiful Asian woman with tears spilling from her eyes. This painting is the fourth in a new series portraying women of different backgrounds that share the same attitudes, emotions and complexities. Whatever our culture or background may be, women across the world bond to share in heartache and happiness, in sorrow and pain, in attitudes and emotions and everything in between. Dreams really do come true! StarrStruck Gallery & Studio, located in Clear Lake Shores, Texas is now a reality for artist, Debi Starr. Debi, a native Houstonian, has been creating art her whole life. She graduated from The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts before heading to the windy city to attend The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She holds a BFA as well as her Teaching Certificate in Art Education and she has successfully built her reputation as an artist and a private art teacher.
