Description
This painting "My Favorite Girl" is the second in a new series, the first one being my painting, "Kate". Klimt inspired this series and I am enjoying incorporating my own style of mixed media techniques, the use of gold leaf, feathers in her hair, handmade papers within the painting, along with "Klimt Style" shapes, my use of space, etc. I am anxious to begin the next one.

VERY nice! The purple and yellow in the dress and chair are a great contrast; I like the abstract background that looks at first like it could "be something" but no real details to detract from the meticulousness of the chair and the girl. Too bad that the gold leaf does not pop more on screen - the original must be stunning.
