Title
Lost in Serenity
Artist
Debi Starr
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
Lost in Serenity by Debi Starr depicts a curvaceous nude woman relaxed in her thoughts. The dramatic lighting casts incredible shadows and lost edges losing the form in and out of light. She becomes one with the folds and curves of the blanket and the striking composition and bold contrast add to the dynamics of the painting. This piece would be perfect for a master bath area or spa like setting and would set the mood for a sense of calm.
Thank you to Will Jones, a figure model himself, for the suggestion of a perfect title.

Debi, "Lost in Serenity" is a good place to be lost. I love this. The tones are so pleasing to the eyes. The way you did the folds and shadows~~love that too. Thanks for your kind comments. Your admirer, Anne F/V

very interesting pose and description Deb. I might have called this "Contemplating" keeping it to 1 word, short and sweet if you will, anyways. thats what I get from this painting, It appears as tho the subject is "contemplating" what type of experience she is "about to encounter". Butt sometimes I "over-think" things. any way you look AT it... I love it!!!!!
